What is the Korean language study abroad program?
Korean language study abroad (also known as Korean language preparatory course) is a program for foreigners established by universities in Korea.
1. Purpose of the Korean language study abroad program

2. Program duration
Usually lasts 1 year with 4 semesters, each semester consists of 10 weeks (equivalent to 200 lessons).

The Korean language program is systematically built
The Korean language study abroad program is divided into 6 semesters according to 6 levels. The total time to complete 6 levels is 1.5 years. Normally, students who complete 4 levels in 1 year can meet the language requirements for university and graduate programs in Korea.
After each level, students will be awarded a certificate of completion and a transcript by the school. At most Korean universities, the results of the Korean language program are used to consider admission to undergraduate and graduate programs with specific scholarship levels (usually 30% – 50% of tuition).
