Cheongju is a private university located in Cheongju City, the capital of Chungcheongbuk Province, South Korea. Cheongju University is strong in engineering, business, and arts. Cheongju University is proud to be a leader in teaching and learning with constantly improving educational quality. The university consists of 7 affiliated colleges with 62 departments and 61 graduate programs. At the same time, Cheongju University also built a complex of elementary, middle, and high schools. Currently, the university has cooperative relationships with 189 leading universities in 29 countries.
II. FACILITIES
– The school has a system of 7 academies, primary schools and affiliated high schools.

III. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
– Korean language study abroad: High school graduation required and an average score of 6.5 or higher in the 3-year transcript, no TOPIK required.
– University study abroad: High school graduates from high schools, minimum TOPIK 3 required, graduating from high school no more than 3 years ago.
– Master’s study abroad: University graduates required. Minimum TOPIK 4 (Faculty of Talents: TOPIK 3). English proficiency: Minimum TOEFL (CBT 197, IBT 71), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600

V. STUDY SCHOLARSHIPS
Although Cheongju University is a private university, it has many attractive scholarship policies for international students. The school’s scholarship policies are worth up to 100% of tuition fees.
+ First semester scholarship: Scholarships are based on TOPIK (TOPIK 3 ~ 6 is reduced by 40% ~ 60% of tuition and admission fees).
+ Scholarships based on academic performance: Scholarships are awarded by the University or department to international students with good academic performance (33% ~ 100% of tuition fees).
+ TOPIK scholarships for international students: If students achieve a higher TOPIK level than when they first entered the school, they will be awarded a scholarship of 300,000 won (awarded only once).
